Today, October 25th, is World Pasta Day. All around the world, people are twirling, slurping, and enjoying their favorite pasta dishes. In China, people have been feasting on noodles for at least 2,000 years. And while it's no longer believed that pasta is one of the many exotic ingredients explorer Marco Polo introduced to Italians following his Asian travels, it is true that China rivals Italy in its love for the slippery long noodle.

Although Asian noodles may not have the intriguing variety of shapes and sizes that characterize Italian pasta, they are made with a number of unusual ingredients, including rice flour and even mung bean flour. Here are some noodle recipes for you to celebrate World Pasta Day:
