Picture this: You’re trying to come up with appetizer ideas for a party. Nothing comes to mind. Why not turn to the zodiac for help?

Here are appetizer recommendations for each Chinese animal sign. Remember, these are for fun only, and not to be taken too seriously!

So, let’s begin with the charming Rat:
"Charming, witty, and verbally persuasive, the Rat can be counted on to liven up any gathering. And you’ll never have to worry about the sophisticated Rat committing those social gaffes that bedevil the rest of us from time to time.
Rats are also known for their generosity to family and friends â€" at least those who have proven their loyalty. But it would be a mistake to call the Rat altruistic. Deep down they are always looking out for their own self-interest. The word “backstabber” has been applied to Rats, and most do enjoy a good gossip.
On a more positive note, rats are generally curious, always interested in learning new things, and tend to be successful."

Recommended Appetizer: Siu Mai Dumplings, also known as "Cook and Sell" dumplings. The Rat will appreciate the effort these delicious basket-shaped dumplings filled with pork and shrimp. But make sure you get it right! Otherwise, everyone will know about your faux pas.
